From the Heart

Hello.  It is time for another From The Heart project.  I just love working with the From The Heart images.  She has some amazing Spring images so go over and check them out.

I used the Full of Beans Birdbrains image for this card.  Instead of a stamping a sentiment, I used ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed the card and will go over and check out From The Heart.

More pink

Hello.  Pink is one of my favorite colors when I make cards and my supply of pink paper is proof.  I have so much, and I am going to try and use some of it up.

I haven't entered a Paper Shelter challenge in a while, so I thought I would use this cute little baby girl.  She looks so precious.    I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.  I wasn't sure what to use for the layer under my image so I decided to just use white and add some texture.

I have a friend who has just become a Grandmother for the first time with a cute little girl so I thought this card would be perfect for her.

I am going to use the card in the following challenges:
    Paper Shelter - Girly
Fab N Funky - Focus on Image
In The Pink - Special Lady
    Penny's Challenge - Ribbon & Bows
    Sketch Saturday - Sketch #352
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
Through The Craftroom Door - Anything Goes

I will be back later with another card hopefully.

Meljen's

Hello.  One more for tonight.

I decided to use one of my Meljen's Designs' images.  She is closing and I am going to miss her site so much.  I just love her images.  This is the Shamrock Mouse.  I should have made him a little larger but it is too late now.  But that is the great thing about digital images, you can size them how big or small you want them.

I used the sketch from Sugar Pea.  Instead of a circle, I used the mouse image.  I don't normally do corners but I like these.

I am going to use it for the following challenges:
   Sweet Pea - Sketch #21
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
   Cupcake Inspiration - Lucky
Jo's Scrap Shack - Lucky Clover
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes
   Marker Pop - Anything Goes
As You Like It - Digi & Why (easy to size)
   Addicted to CAS - Green

Have a great night.  Chat with you early in the morning.

Round Boxes

Happy Sunday.  I have so enjoyed this weekend.  I hate to see it end.

I really hate round boxes.  Well, actually I hate putting them together.  I always feel like my circle isn't a circle when I finish.I wish my paper had been a little heavier for this box.  It looks good but I don't think the walls are thick enough.  Oh well, I am getting it to my husband so it won't get shown to a lot of people.

I added a ribbon around the lid.  The base needs something but it will do for now.  Instead of one gem in the middle of the clover, I did four, just to be different.  I don't know what kind of candy I will put in it.  I wanted gold coins but I can't find them.  I have one more store to check tomorrow.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Craftin Desert Divas - Green
Die Cutting Divas - St. Patricks
   Cuttlebug Mania - Green
   PINspirational - Green
   Tuesday Throwdown - Lucky
   Creative Cutting - St. Patricks
   Little Tangles - Anything Goes
Crafting By Design - Anything Goes

Be back later.  Enjoy your day.

Springtime Birdie

Hello.  I hope everyone is doing well and having lots of play time.  I have had some extra time this week and you would think that means I would have some time to play in my craft room.  But it didn't work that way.  I am hoping to have most of tomorrow.

I have a couple of printed images on my desk and I really need to use them up, so I decided to use this birdbrain from From The Heart.  As I mentioned, I am guest designing for them this month, so I have several of their images printed to use.  It was the February Stamp of the Month and is now in the store for 50%.  It is a great time to check out all of the digital images.

I am going to hide the card on my husband's desk as a quick note.  We will see how long it will take him to find it.  Probably not long, because I heard him say he was going to clean off his desk tomorrow.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
2 Cute Ink Challenges - Spring
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
Simon Says Monday - B is for....
Through The Craftrm Door - Anything Goes
   Wednesday's Inspiration - Anything Goes
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Simon Says Wednesday - Things That Fly

Have a great night.  I will hopefully see you in the morning.

From The Heart

Hello.  I am here today to share another From The Heart project.  I am still working on St. Patrick's Day cards.  So I just had to use the Wee Bits & Lots of Luck image.

The two clovers in the jar are just so  clean and simple that I just had to do some thing equally clean and simple.  I just love the green and yellow plaid.  Some thing about St. Patrick's calls for plaid.

I hope you enjoy the card and make sure you go over to From The Heart and check out all of their great images.  They also have several things happening over on their blog.

Stamp of the Month - It is a Spring image and I can't wait to play with it.  It was free if you played last month.  If not, you can get it free with a $10 purchase.

Sketch #100 - Every month, FTH post a new sketch challenge.  This week, there will be 10 participates selected to receive a $10 gift voucher.  Everyone who enters will get a $1 gift voucher to use at FTH.

And today, you have the Mid-Week Inspiration.  If you haven't been over to From the Heart, you have got to check it all out.

Have a great day and hopefully I will be back later today with another card.

Cut It Up

Happy Friday.  It is time for another Cut It Up challenge.  I can't believe two weeks have already gone by.  What happened to February?

This is a fun challenge.  The theme is Windy.  It must have a moving component.   Several things came to mind but I wanted to stay with a St. Patrick's Day theme.  So I decided to use a wobble.  I just love them.  So much fun to use.

The horseshoe and clover came from Fleurette Bloom.  This set has a couple of things in it, that I really want to make.  Hopefully, this weekend.  The green background paper is embossed with clovers.

The sponsor for this challenge is Fleurette Bloom.  She has some great files.  Take a look, I am sure you will find something.

I hope to see you over at Cut It Up.  Have a great weekend.

Clover and more clovers

Howdy.   How is everyone?  I am still making a few St. Patrick's Day cards, but I am getting ready for Spring.  I just wish the weather would cooperate.

I decided to pull out my Meljen's Designs' folder.  I have several of her St. Patty's images.   Hopefully you will see a few of them before the weekend.

The first one, I pulled out was the St. Patricks Cupcake.  I love her cupcakes. I colored most of it in different shades of green.  Since the challenge over at Meljen's is Seeing Spots, I added a row of stamped dots and a row of embossed dots.  Lastly, I added some shimmer with my Winks of Stella pen.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
   Meljen's Designs -Spots
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes
   Suzy Bee's - Embossing
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafting From Your Heart - Anything Goes
Simon Says Monday - Just a hint of Clover
   Curtain Call - Lucky

Chat with you later.

Cocoa again

Hello.  I know I have been quieter than usual, but hopefully that will change soon.

I printed this cocoa mouse the other day when I did the donut one.  I decided to use it for the Die Cutting Divas' sketch challenge.  I originally had a bow in the corner, but I needed a die cut so I put the circle on it. I will post pictures of both of them.

Instead of coloring the lilacs purple, I used pink.  I just don't do purple.   If you don't remember from my previous post, Cocoa is from Sweet N Sassy.  I also added an extra layer around the image.  It just needed another color.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
   Die Cuttin Divas - Sketch
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
Brown Sugar Challenges - Anything Goes
   Wags N Whiskers - Kraft
Glitter N Sparkle - Anything Goes
Crafting By Design - Thinking of You
   Crafty Sentiments - Spring Colors
   Tuesday Throwdown - Circles
Crafting When You Can - Grey, Pink & Kraft

Off to do a few things.  I may be back later.
