From the Heart

Here is my last post for the night.  It is the challenge for From The Heart.  It is the Harvest Stamp.  I just love this stamp and I may use it again.

Have a good night.

Black Bat

I almost forgot to post this black bat.  I found him on Silhouette Online and I just had to cut him out.  I used a gray card and then used a swirl texture folder to complete the card.  It was quick and easy to do and I just love how it came out.

I am going to use it for the Black challenge at Glitter N Sparkle.

Have a great night.  I hopefully will be back with one more project.

Imagine That

Today was Halloween, while I was waiting on trick or treaters, I decided to play.  My craft room is right next to the front door.

The challenge at Imagine That was to use Gertie Goose in a project.  I decided to combine it with the Sketch Saturday sketch challenge and the color  challenge at Craft Spot by Kimberly.  The only thing I didn't do was use a light pink.  I hope this card will work for all three challenges.

Have a nice evening and a Happy Halloween.

Meljen's Designs

The challenge this week at Meljen's Designs was FaBOOlous, Halloween but not a card.  I immediately thought of a candy box and since it is Halloween, I thought of candy corn.  I just love candy corn.

I cut the box from the Fall Treat Box set from My Scrap Chick.  Then I used a candy corn from Silhouette Online.  Since it was a Meljen challenge, I had to have a digital stamp from Meljen.  I used the cute little candy corn from Meljen.  I left off the other candy.

I am also going to use the candy box for the following challenges:
   Repeat Impressions - Paper Piercing
Creative Cutting - #21 Halloween, not a card
   QKR Stampede - Orange
Tuesday Throwdown - Witch way to the Candy

I am going to send the boxes to work with my husband as a Halloween surprise.

Have a great night.

Whimsie Doodle

Hello everyone.

I made this image from Whimsie Doodles a little small but it is perfect for the sketch challenge at Catch The Bug.  I wasn't completely sure about the sketch, it looked a little busy but I think the card came out really good.

I am also going to use it for the challenge at C.R.A.F.T.   The challenge is a recipe.  The ingredients are below.

I used glitter brads to meet the requirements for the glitter and/or bling.  I also added the leaf brad to make 3 embellishments.  It was hard to meet all the  requirements for this challenge, but I think I did it.

I will also be entering it into the following challenges.
   Whimsie Doodles - Fall
Crafty Catz - Spots and Stripes
   Parade Your Crafts - Autumn

I hope every one has a nice evening.  I have a few more cards to post but I think they will have to wait until tomorrow.  I took some cough medicine and it has made me sleepy.

Meljen's Designs

As most of you know if you read my blog on a regular basis, I love to use my Meljen's Design digital stamps and I love her challenges.  I was on her site today and I won last week's challenge.  I took second place.  It will give me something new to play with.  I can't wait.

If you haven't been to the Meljen's shop or blog, you should check it out.  Thank you every one at Meljen's for always having such great challenges.

Have a great afternoon.

Project Life

I have been looking at the Project Life kits for some time.  I thought I would start one at the first of the year.  I look the idea of a picture a day but I have never been real good at staying current.  I thought Project Life would make it easier.  I decided a couple of weeks ago to go ahead and start an album.  It hasn't been easy but I am doing pretty good.  I have my first page done.

I am doing mine a little different.  Instead of a two-page spread, I am doing one page.  If there is a big event and I need more space, I will go to a two-page spread then.

I figured if I started it now, I could use some of my fall and Christmas pictures.  But it will give me time to get a habit formed.  I hope it will get easier as time goes along.

I forgot to take a picture of the beginning page.   I will take a picture of it tomorrow.  I am having trouble with week 41.  I didn't take good notes that week.  Week 42 and 43 are just about finished.  I want to finish both of them next week, so that I will only have to do a page a week.

Wish me luck.  This is a big undertaking for me.

Have a good night.

Witch's Hat

I also made this Witch's Hat card today.  I don't normally use purple but I think this came out perfect.  I wasn't sure if the spider would cut but It was a fairly easy cut.  I like it when cards goes together easily.

I still have a few more Halloween cards to make, but I will be mailing all of them on Monday.  Hopefully I will have enough made.

Have a great night.

Black & Orange

The challenge over at CardzTV is Purple, Black & Orange.  I don't use a lot of purple.  Even at Halloween.  I decided to cut the tri-fold card from Silhouette Online.  It was a quick and easy card.  Just two cuts.  It is smaller than my normal cards but I am sure some one enjoy getting it.

The W in Halloween didn't cut as well as the others, but I think it is acceptable.

I am also going to enter it into the Silhouette Online Weekly Shape Challenge.

Have a great night.

Thank You

I have/had a migraine most of the day today so I probably won't get any thing major done tonight, but I did want to take a minute and say thank you to every one who visit my site and/or leaves comments.  At one time, I was replying to all of the comments but then school started back and I got busy.  So I decided to leave a message saying thank you.  I really do appreciate all of your comments.

Have a great weekend.

Pumpkins and Tags

I have had this little mouse from Meljen on my desk all week.  I can't remember what I printed him for, so today, I decided to use him for the Sketch Saturday Challenge and the Silhouette Online Weekly Shape Challenge.

I colored him with my copics and added a little pumpkin tag so that it would have a tag on it for the Silhouette Challenge.  I textured the main card with my new Darcie Fall Leaves folder.  I think, it came out really cute.

This will probably be my last one for tonight.  Hopefully tomorrow night I will get a few more projects done.   Have a nice night.

Coffins

I know a post named Coffins is just strange.  I spent today trying to finish up some projects.  The biggest one was these little coffin treat holders, I purchased from SVG Cutting Files.  I originally saw the coffins on Craft Spot by Kimberly and knew I wanted to make them for everyone at work.  I started them almost two weeks ago.  They are finally done.

I got the ghost and skeleton from Silhouette Online.  The spider came with the coffin.  I think every
one will like these.  I am going to put small candy bars in them.

I am entering these into the following challenges.
Incy Wincy Designs - Purple & Black
   Tuesday Throwdown - Creepy Crawlies

Have a nice evening.

Meljen Design

I decided to play with my Meljen Design digital stamps.  So I made a hidden message card using the Frosty Face digital.  This was a really quick and easy card and I will make more of these.  I may even try to get a Halloween one done.

Have a great night.

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge

I was looking through some of my regular sites today and I noticed that I had been picked for the Top 3 at Incy Wincy Design for the Halloween challenge.  Thank you so much for picking my card.

Have a great day and hopefully I will be back later with some thing new.

Last Minute

I hate waiting until the last minute to make a card for a challenge but I did today.  I had forgotten about the Tuesday Throwdown until my sister mentioned that she was making a card for it.  I decided to combine some challenges.

I used the kitten stamp from Repeat Impressions.  I bought it last year and didn't get to use it.  I really wanted to use it this year.   The Halloween is from Silhouette Online and I added a gem in the middle of the "O".

Here are the challenges I am entering with this card.
   Tuesday Throwdown - Pumpkin Patch
   Repeat Impressions - Halloween
   Cardz TV - Pumpkin Patch
   Curtain Call - Gorgeous Gourds
   Eureka Stamps - Halloween Colors
   Repeat Impressions - Sketch O1613

Have a great afternoon.

Craft Spot

The challenge over at My Craft Spot is 3D Halloween.  I work at a school and we have been decorating our bulletin boards for Halloween and I knew immediately I wanted to cut a skeleton out.  I purchased the skeleton from Silhouette Online.  It went together really easy and the kids are going to love it.

Have a great afternoon and I will be back with another project in a little while.

Think Pink

I needed one more think pink card and I fell in love with this pink giraffe from KaDoodles Bug Designs.  I would have cut it even if I didn't need another card. It cut so easy with no mess-up.  Added a gem to the pink ribbon and on the end of the saying.

I will be using this card in the following challenges:

Digi Darla's - Think Pink
Silhouette Challenges - Critters

Have a great evening...

Cut It Up

Time for another challenge at Cut It Up.  This week's theme is Halloween or Day of the Dead.  It will be sponsored by Digital Delights.  I really hope to see you over at Cut It Up for this challenge.

My sister had never made a penny slider card so we decided to make the Halloween Bat one from Silhouette Online.  It is a fairly simple card and was fun to put together.  My bat doesn't have all the layers but I think he came out really good.

Once again, come join the fun at Cut It Up.

Have a great day.

Halloween Black Cat

My sister and I have so many cards and things, we still want to cut for Halloween, so this evening, we decided to work on the Black Cat and Pumpkin card from Silhouette.  We shrunk it down to the normal size for a card.  We both really hate mailing larger cards because it means a trip to the PO to get it mailed.

I may have to make the cat's face darker next time.

I think it came out really cute.  For the first time, this week, we made some thing that didn't evolve a challenge.  This was a just for fun card.

Have a great night.

Fall Letters

I really wanted to decorate my mantle.  One of the projects, I wanted to add to my mantle was Fall Letters.  I finally cut them out yesterday and put them together today.  I think they came out great.  I just love how they look on the mantle.

I still have a few more things to add, but I am getting there slowly.  I am going to use the letters for the Silhouette Online Fall Challenge.

Have a great evening.

Meljen - Little Witch Mouse

My sister and I decided to work on Meljen Design's Kraft Paper challenge.  I knew I wanted to use the Little Witch Mouse.  I am still trying to finish my Halloween cards.

You can't tell from the picture but I cut his head out and put a foam dot behind it.  I may add some glitter to the stars and doodles.  I haven't decided yet.  What do you think?  Just leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

Repeat Impressions - Halloween
Catch The Bug - Sketch 143
Clear It Out - Halloween with anything Orange

Have a great afternoon.

Happy Halloween

I saw a card someone else had made with this image.  It was just so cute that I had to play around with it.  I made an easel card out of it.  My silhouette didn't cut it as good as it could have been but I did end with a usable image.

I am hoping to get my cards mailed this week but I still have quite a few to make.

I am going to use this card for the following challenges:

Craft Spot Trick or Treat challenge
Crafty Catz' Halloween challenge
QKR Stampede - Anything with Circles
Glitter N Sparkle - Orange
Incy Wincy - Halloween
C.R.A.F.T - Halloween/Fall/Thanksgiving
Parade Your Craft - Halloween

I am hoping to get my cards mailed this week but I still have quite a few to make.

Have a nice evening.

Imagine That

I recently discovered a new digital stamp company.  It is Imagine That.  She has some of the most adorable set.  This little candy corn girl is one of them.  You will be seeing her digital stamps alot more often.

I am going to use this card on the Incy Wincy Designs Challenge.  The challenge this week is to use a candy photo to inspire a card.  I am using candy corn.  It is one of my favorite things about fall.  I almost always have a bowl of it on my counter during the fall months.

I will probably be making a few more candy corn cards.  I love the yellow, orange, and white combination for cards.

Here is the picture of  the candy corn that I used to inspire my card.  I think the card still needs something.  I have been looking at it for two days and I can't figure out what to add to it.  I may leave it seating on my craft table for a few more days and see if any thing comes to mind.

Have a great night.

Digi Darla's

Digi Darla's is running a Fall Copy Cat challenge.  They provided a digital stamp and you had to create a card with it.  It was a cute little cat.  I decided to use the swing card for it.  It think it came out pretty good.  I put leaf brads on the front and a leaf pattern paper on the back.

I hope you enjoy the card.  Have a great evening.

Papertrey

While I had my Papertrey Friendship Jar Filler stamps out, I decided to play around with the fall set.  You will see a couple of cards from this set over the next few days.

Tonight, I used the candy apple and saying to make this fall card for the challenge at CardzTV.  It is a simple card, but I liked the apples in a row.  I will probably use the ghost tomorrow.  Maybe even the candy corn.

Have a great night.

Just Because - Candy Apples

My sister and I was playing around on skype today.  She was working on some challenges and I was just trying to finish some cards that I had started but not finished.  She needed some candy apples so I started playing around in the Silhouette Design program and I came up with this candy apple shaped card.

When I make shaped cards, I usually put something on the outside.  I didn't really have anything that would work, so I ended up added a small candy apple.  No one likes the small candy apple, so I made some cards both ways.

It is time to finish another set of cards.  Maybe I will be back later with something new.  Have a great evening.

Little Miss Muffet

I don't know if I am ready for Christmas or not, but I really need to work on some cards, so I decided to make some cards for the Little Miss Muffet Christmas challenge.  I used the Claudia Loves Christmas digital stamp.  I think it came out really good.

I will also use it for the C.R.A.F.T.  animal challenge.

Have a great night.  Hopefully I will have more time tomorrow to play around.

Whimsie Doodles

I am once again, playing with some of my Whimsie Doodles' images.  I went through my folder a few weeks ago and made a list of all the Fall and Christmas images, I wanted to use.  'Tiny The Turkey' is the last one on my fall list for Whimsie Doodles.  I am going to move to Meljen Designs after this.  I also want to pull out some of my Denami stamps.

I really love how this card came out.  This is the cutest turkey.  The saying on the sign is one that I found and was able to get it to fit.  Using the silhouette makes, it so easy to combine things.  I also used the print and cut feature.  The gobble came from Silhouette Online.

I am going to use this card for several challenges....
    Craft Spot - Sketch #113
    Clear It Out - Thanksgiving
    QKR Stampede - Fall Colors
    Eureka Stamps - Anything Goes

I don't think I have ever used one card for so many challenges.

Have a great evening.

Eureka Stamps

The challenge over at Eureka is Wings and Things.  I thought the Batty Girl from Whimsie Doodles would fit perfectly and she was sitting on my desk waiting to be colored.  I think she came out really well.  I just love the purple and orange together.

My stamping buddy will be surprised that I used purple because it is one of my least favorite colors to use on cards.  But it fits with the Halloween theme.

I hope you have a great day.  I won't be back until later today because I have to work today.

Halloween Cards

Here is a card for the challenge at Digi Darla.  It was anything with a moon.  This card was quick and easy to put together and that was a good thing since I waited until the last minute to get it done.

I really like the bright yellow moon (card) in the background.

I am also going to use this card for the Curtain Call challenge, which is Spooky Scene and Catch The Bug is Anything Goes.

I am off to do a few more cards.  I will catch you later.  Have a good evening.

Just A Note

I wanted to work on some challenges today, plus my sister and I haven't played all week.  I decided to work on another challenge for Catch The Bug.  The challenge this time was a photo inspired ( see the photo below).
I immediately thought of pencils so I went looking for something with a pencil.  I thought of the Penpal Mouse by Meljen.  I used it a couple of weeks ago and he is just so adorable.

I then went looking for something to use with it.  I looked at the pencils (from Silhouette) at the beginning of school but I never used them and I thought they would be perfect.  The pencil were so quick and easy to put together.  I will use this cutting file again.

I am also going to use this card for the 'Anything Goes' challenge at Crafty Catz.

I hope you have a nice night and weekend.

Cut It Up Challenges

This month's challenge at Cut It Up Challenges is "Think Pink".  It is near and dear to me.  This is one cause that will always get my full support.

My first thought was the candy bar holder by Silhouette.  I have been wanting to make these for the ladies at work, so I made some of them.

Then I saw the 'Give a Hoot' set by Imagine That.  I just had to use it.  So now I am going to make a card to go with the candy bars.  I printed it with my Silhouette on white and on pink plaid for the ribbon.

Please go over to Cut It Up and enter the challenge.  It is sponsored this month by 'As Cute As A Button' ($20 coupon code) and 'My Scrap Chick' ($10 gift card).  It is a great prize package.

I hope to see you over there.  Have a great day.
