Valentine Bendi Card

Hello again.  Even though, tomorrow is Valentine's Day.  I still have a few things I want to work on.  I will probably work on V-Day things through the weekend and then switch to ??? on Monday.  I am so not ready for Spring or Easter cards.  There is still snow on the ground.  I know both are early this year.  We will see where I head from here.

I love bendi cards.  They are just so much fun to make.  I do wonder when I mail one if the receipt knows how to put the card together.  I don't have to worry about this one, my husband is going to get it.  I plan on leaving it on the bathroom sink tomorrow.  He will probably find cards off and on all day tomorrow.

I am using it for the following challenges:
   Cute Card Thursday - Love
Simon Says Wednesday - It Must Be Love
Gem of a Challenge - Have a Heart
   Cupcake Inspiration - Love
   Craft Rocket - Love

After this, I am off to fold some clothes.  I still have at least one more card to show you.  I just need to add the sentiment to the front of it.

Chat with you later.  Have a good one.

Hanukkah

Hello and Happy Valentine's Eve.  Does any one have big plans?  We don't do any thing big around here.  My husband has been getting little treats for the last ten days or so but that is about it.  I don't know if we will grab something out for dinner or if I will cook something.  I will decide tomorrow.

One of my closest friends is Jewish.  She is a card maker and she always makes Christmas cards instead of Hanukkah cards.  I always try to make her a card so she gets one homemade Hanukkah card.   I would love to have a card for all eight days of Hanukkah but it never works out.   I am going to try harder this year.  To that end, here is a Hanukkah for 2018.  While I am thinking about it, I am going to try and pull all of the Hanukkah stamps ( and I don't have many), and set them aside.  Over the next few months, I am going to see how many cards I can get made.  Wish me luck.

Off to cook dinner.  Chat with you later.

My Hubby's Valentine

Hello and Happy Saturday.  I have been watching the Olympic all afternoon.  I just love watching all of the events.  I have them on in the background now.  It is a good thing this isn't live.  I couldn't disappear to watch TV.

I have been on a Lawn Fawn kick lately.  I have pulled out all of my set and I have been trying to use as many as possible.  I still have a few to use.  So be warned.

This will be my husband's Valentine's Day card.  He is an electrician  and I am always looking for light bulbs.  This is a favorite.  I like the light switch plus it comes with smiley faces.  You will see it again.

I am using it for the following challenges:
Simon Says Monday - Love Is In The Air
Simon Says Wednesday - It Must Be Love
   Cupcake Inspiration - Love
   Give a Crafter A Cookie - Valentines

Chat with you later.  Have a good one.

Christmas

Hello again.  This will be my last post tonight.  The opening ceremony is almost over and then I am going to grab a shower and just relax with a good book for a little while before I head to bed.

A friend of mine is a CTMH consultant and she wants to make these cards for Christmas 2018.  I told her I would cut the step card out with my Silhouette to save her some time.  Since I am cutting cards for her, I borrowed the set and made a couple for myself.  So this is my Christmas item for the month of January.  I finished them up last weekend at our crop.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes
12 Months of Christmas - Christmas

Off to relax.  Chat with you tomorrow.

Valentines and Bugaboo

Hello again.

This is one of my favorite Bugaboo images for Valentines.  She is just so cute.  You can print it with the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment or without it.

The picture looks more orange than red but it is red just not a bright red red.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Catch The Bug - Anything Goes
Simon Says Monday - Love Is In The Air
CAS-ual Friday - Hearts, Hearts & More Hearts
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes

The opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics is on tonight and I will be watching it so I don't know how much time I will have in my craft room.  We will see.  I have at least one more card to post that I made last weekend during my crop night.

Have a good evening.  I hope to chat with you soon.

Valentine Notes

Hello.  How are all of you out there?  We are having a snow day and I mean a snow day.  They are saying we will have around 9-10 inches when it finishes snowing sometime tomorrow.  My husband is going to have so much fun with the driveway and walkway.  I have been keeping the porch and steps clean but that is all.  He is going to work on every thing else tomorrow.

I didn't know that these cards were going to take me so long.  I have been working on them on and off for two days.  In all fairness, I did make 22 of them.  I thought all the ladies at work would like them on Valentine's Day.  Plus a couple of extras to leave on my hubby's desk.

Lori Whitlock made them last year and I thought they were so cute.  I was thinking they would be quick and easy but then I wasn't thinking about making so many of them.  And each one has several pieces.  And I just had to make each design.  If you want the links for each design, just let me know.  There are just too many links to post.

I am using them in the following challenges:
    Aud Sentiments - Love Sentiments
Paper Shelter - For The One You Love
Fab N Funky - Say It With Words
   Cute Card Thursday - Love

Sorry for all  the pics.  I hope you like them.

I need to do a few things but I hope to be back with another card later.  Have a good one.

Is it Spring yet?

Hello.  Is it Spring yet?  I love snow but I am so tired of the cold temperatures.  We got 3 inches of snow last night and it was 18 this morning when I headed out to work.  Just too cold....

I didn't make my goal of 31 post last month, but I didn't do too bad.  I will try again this month, which means I need to get busy.

I am in love with this quilt square die.  I have seen so many cards with it.  I thought this one looked Springy so it helped my mood today.  I have a crop weekend coming up so I plan on making a few more cards with it.  I may even get a Christmas one done.

I love the stitching on the inside pieces.  The die cut them into the pieces and that is perfect for me since I can't draw straight and I haven't tried real stitching on cards.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
If You Give A Crafter A Cookie - Birthday
Crafty Gals - Anything Goes #158
As You Like It - Stitching & Why
Dream Valley - Use 3 Pattern Papers

Hopefully, I will have some Valentine Cards/Notes for you later tonight, but I really need to clean off my craft table before I start another project.  Have a great evening.
