From The Heart

Hello again.  Just a quick one and then I am off to read a book.

This is the stamp of the month over at From The Heart.  I made it too small, but it works for the sketch.  The little piggy is so cute sticking his head out of the flowers.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   From The Heart - Monthly
   Creative Knockouts - Anything Goes
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes
From The Heart - Sketch #154

Chat with you tomorrow hopefully.

Bugaboo again

Hello.  I don't know where the long weekend went.  I didn't get in time in my craft room.  Hopefully this week will be different.

I like the Graduate Boy so much from Bugaboo that I went and purchased the little girl.  My husband's business partner's daughter graduates this year so I am going to use this card for her.  Surprisingly, the school colors are the same as the school I work at, so I still had the copics laying on my desk so that was easy.

I changed the card up a little.  I added a little bow to the ribbon.  When it comes to bows, I like to keep the simple.  And then I moved the congrats to the side and added some gems.

I am using the card in the following challenges:
Connie Can Crop - Grad or Dad
   Crafty Gals - Anything Goes
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Simon Says Wednesday - Anything Goes
As You Like It - Big or Small Bows and Why

I have one more card to make.  Hopefully I will get it done.  If not, have a good one.

Bugaboo

Hello again.  I worked both jobs today, so I am so tired.  Oh well, I will get over it.

My main job is at the local public school.  So every year, I get several graduation/open house invitations.  Graduation is next weekend, so I need to get some cards made.

I decided to use this cute graduate from Bugaboo for a couple of them.  It is just so cute.  I used blue since that is one of the school colors.

Kept it simple and used the bingo board over at Catch The Bug....1 layer, Bugaboo image, Player's Choice (ribbon).

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Catch The Bug - Bingo
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes
   Glitter N Sparkle - Anything Goes #189
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes #113
   Creative Card Crew - Masculine

Chat with you later, I am off to make a banana pudding.

Craftin Desert Divas

Hello again.  Just a quick one before I head off to work.  I printed this Whimsie Doodles' cutie off last night when I couldn't sleep.  I thought she would be perfect for the Craftin Desert Divas' foodie challenge.

I kept the card simple.  I like all of the red and green.  Makes me want a watermelon.  Maybe I will bring one home after work.  It would be great for lunch tomorrow.

You cant see it but the white layer on the dress has glitter on it.

I even carried the color theme over into the inside of the card.  And I added a small piece of watermelon.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Craftin Desert Divas - Foodie
Freshly Made Sketches - Sketch #237
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes #86
   Penny's Challenges - Anything Goes #278
Cute Card Thursday - Food and/or Drink
Creative Knockouts - Finish The Inside

Chat after work.

Memorial Day

Hello and happy Sunday.  Memorial Day is right around the corner and I haven't made any cards.  I am hoping to change that over the next few days.

I knew when I saw this technique over at Doodlebug's blog that I would be using it.  I used it two ways.  I think I like the multiple stars better.  It uses up some of the white space.  The little girl is from Whimsie Doodles.  She is a favorite of mine.  The Saying is from Crafin Desert Divas.  I don't keep my washi tape in the package so I have no idea what brands I used.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes #312
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes #112
   Marker Pop - Patriotic
   Pile It On - You're A Star
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes

Hopefully I will be back later with something else.  Have a great day.

Give a Crafter A Cookie

Hello and Good Friday morning.  It is time for another challenge over at Give A Crafter A Cookie.  This was a challenge for me.

The theme was......

My vacations usually revolve around going home and seeing family.  And I enjoy them, but I don't usually do the normal vacation.  This year is different.  My husband and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in June so we decided to do something.  We are going to head to Washington DC.  I have always wanted to go.  My husband lived in the DC area growing up and it isn't high on his list of places to go, but he knows I want to go so we are going.

For the challenge, I decided to make a countdown hanger.  It is hanging beside my desk so I see it a million times a day.  I cant wait for the trip.

I created every thing myself except the suitcase.   I don't normally make things from scratch.  It is so easy to go to the Silhouette Online Store and pick up what I need.  I want to work on creating some of my own stuff this summer.  It should be fun if I can get my creative juices flowing.

You can find the suitcase at the Silhouette Online Store.  It comes with a couple different images and then a negative of the images.

Instead of making by countdown square, I put it at an angle.  I really like how it came out.

The challenge this week is sponsored by A-Muse Studio.  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.  So head on over and enter the challenge today.

Have a great day and I hope to see you on here later today.

From The Heart

Hello again.  One more quick one and I am probably finished for the night.  Three cards in one day.  That hasn't happened in a long time.  Hopefully I will get some time this week to relax and play.

This was a hard one for me.  I felt like the card needed something but my husband said no.  He like it just as it was.

I am using this card in the following challenges:
From The Heart - Sketch #151
Die Cuttin Divas - Water Safety
   Penny's Challenge - Anything Goes #277
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes

Have a great night.

Glittery Strawberry

Hello.  I am home from work and I made a quick one.  Down South, the strawberries are just about down for the year, but here in Michigan, our season is just starting.

I just love this paper with a random smiley strawberry here and there.  I cut the strawberry on my Silhouette and then added some glitter.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Tuesday Morning Sketches - Sketch #351
Simon Says Monday - Emboss It
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Through The Purple Haze - Anything Goes #101
Glitter N Sparkle - Ribbon or Lace

Have a great evening.

Hello and Happy Sunday.  I hope everyone has had a great weekend.  I worked most of it but that is okay.  Yesterday was kind of chilly and rainy.  The high was only 57.  Today will be more of the same.

I wanted to play around a little bit before I headed off to work.  I have picked up several new stamps lately and I really want to sit down and play with them.  This is one of them.  It is a Wild Rose Studio stamp.  I just love their  little elephants.  I also picked up one with a cute bunny.  You will be seeing it soon.

Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes #311
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes #111
   Marker Pop - Mother's Day

Bugaboo Elephant

Hello and Happy Sunday.  I am working today but I have a quick card before I start getting ready.  I am still trying to stock up on birthday cards and at the same time using up some of my printed digitals.  I like having the images printed but I have some how got a lot of them and it is time to use them up.

I only had one of these printed and I even cut the scalloped oval for it, so the color was decided.  I decided to use the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I changed it a little I used an embossing folder to get the random background.  I think it came out okay.

The challenge at As You Like It is Favorite Animal and Why.  If you follow my blog, you know I love elephants.  It started out because of University of Alabama, but now it has just turned it to a love of the animal.  They are just so cute and fun to color.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Creative Card Crew - Embossing
Tuesday Morning Sketches - Sketch #349
   City Crafters - Balloons
Cute Card Thursday - No Pattern Paper
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes #83
As You Like It - Favorite Animal & Why

Hopefully I will chat with you after work.  Have a great day.

Jaded Blossom

Hello.  How is your weekend going?  The day started out sunny but got cloudy around lunch and quickly turned to rain.  So much for a sunny weekend.

After work, I decided to work on a challenge or two.  When I saw the challenge at Jaded Blossom, I knew I was going to use the chunky goldfish from SVG Cutting Files.  The little goldfish is just so cute.  Plus there was a great fish saying on the Jaded Blossom Happy Summer stamp set.

I am using the card in the following challenges:
Jaded Blossom - Under The Sea
Paper Creators Crafts - Polka Dots
   Crafty Gals - Anything Goes
   Crafty Sentiments - Birthday
Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Anything Goes #291

Chat with you later.  Have a good evening.
