Light Up My Life

Hello and Happy Sunday.  I had the day off and I have had a nice relaxing day.  I started the day reading then straighten the house a little bit and now I am messing around in my craft room.

My husband is an electrician, so I am always looking for light bulbs and such.  This image from Bugaboo Stamps has been printed and on my desk for a couple of weeks.  I finally made some thing with it.  It is a fairly simple image so not a lot of coloring.  I used paper from Happy Heart Studio.

If you have never been to Happy Heart Studio.  You have to check out her digital paper.  She has some amazing packs of paper and they just print amazingly.  And they are very reasonably priced.

I am using the card in the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafty Calendar - Love Is In The Air
Freshly Made Sketches - Sketch #225
Crafty Gals - Anything Goes #60
   Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes

Well I am off to hide the card somewhere, so my husband will find it when he least expects it.

Clover and more clovers

Hello.

After speaking to the Silhouette Customer Service department for quite some time tonight, we finally got my cameo to cut a complete file.  After not having it for a week, I was just glad to be able to do something.

When we were playing around with it, trying to figure out what was wrong, I picked this simple but not all straight lines files to cut.  It is another tri fold card.  With the little clover on the edge of the top fold.  After several attempts, it finally worked.  I am so happy.

I am going to use the card in the following challenges:
Hiding In My Craft Room - Clean and Simple
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes
   Really Reasonable Ribbon - Celebrate

Well I am off to clean the kitchen.  Cross your fingers that my machine will cut next time, I try.  Have a great evening.

Give A Crafter A Cookie

Hello and Happy Thursday morning.  Please no cookies.  I am trying to cut back.

My Silhouette is acting up.  This is the last card I was able to cut.  I hope to have it back up and running soon.  It is very frustrating not having it.

In the meantime, it is time for another Give A Crafter A Cookie challenge.  This challenge should be so much fun.   I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.  The challenge is sponsored by Sami Stamps and Robyn's Fetish.

My project was a simple card from Silhouette Online.  It is a tri-fold card.  I have made several lately and the folds are growing on me.  I added the pattern paper and ribbon on the bottom fold.  It was been a great card for my niece who just announced she was pregnant.

Hopefully,  I will have another card for you later today.  Have an great one.  I look forward to seeing your projects over at Give a Crafter A Cookie.

St. Patrick's Day

Hello.  I hope everyone is having a great evening.

I printed a bunch of St. Patrick's Day images for my 30 day Coloring Challenge.  So you will be seeing a bunch of green over the next few days.  But that is a good thing, because I don't have any St. Patrick's Day cards left over from last year.

I got the image from Bugaboo colored really quickly then I had to design the card.  I have tons of green pattern paper but I had trouble matching the colors.  I always have trouble with that.  I decided to use the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  It made designing the card easier.

I am using the card in the following challenges:
Tuesday Morning Sketches - Sketch #339
Marker Pop - St. Patrick's Day
Chocolate Coffee Cards - Anything Goes
   Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes #299
Catch The Bug - Keep It Simple

Chat with you tomorrow.  Have a great weekend.

Cut It Up

http://cutitupchallenges.blogspot.com/
Hello and Happy Friday.  I hope everyone has every one has plans to fit some craft time into the weekend.

I haven't been active over at Cut It Up and I am planning on getting back into the swing of things.  So we are going to start today with a new challenge.

The theme is Leap Year.  Project must contain a frog. It is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.

I used this cute little hello froggie from Bugaboo Stamps.  I kept the card clean and simple.  I don't normal have this much white space but I am getting where I leave more and more.

I  couldn't find a ribbon that I liked so I just added a small strip of patterned paper.

And that is my card.  I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Have a great day.

Blowing Kisses

Hello.  One more for tonight.

I have been following The Daily Marker.  She has a 30 day color challenge.  She tries every day to spend at least 10 minutes coloring.  I really meant to try it this month, but I just haven't had the time.  I am going to start today and see how I do.

I used my watercolor pens tonight.  I haven't used watercolor pens in a long time.  I don't know that I am real good with them, but I want to get better.  I didn't have any watercolor paper so I used what I had tonight.  (I did order some paper for next time.)

This little snowman is from From The Heart.  He is just too cute.  Instead of using blue (that is what I usually use for snowmen), I used green.  I loved the patterned paper.  My stitch marks aren't the same size or thickness but I like the look.

I am using it in the following challenges:
From The Heart - Sketch #139
Crafty Sentiments - Let's Get Sentimental
Tuesday Throwdown - Layer It Up
   Crafty Hazelnut's - Anything Goes
Artistic Inspiration - Anything Goes #150
Aud Sentiment - Cute + Sentiment

Chat with you tomorrow.

Late Valentines

Hello.  I have a couple of quick projects for you tonight

Here is the first one.  I cut this last week, but I didn't have enough red gems to finish it.  I finally made it by Hobby Lobby today.  It came out really big.  I want to make a couple of small ones for my niece.  (She might like them for her wedding).

Instead of putting candy in it, I added three flameless tealights in it and used it as a lantern.

I am using this for the following challenges:
Paper Creators Crafts - Must Be Love
   Cupcake Inspirations - Love
Jo's Scrap Shack - Red, White & Pink
A Gem of a Challenge - Love Is In The Air

I will be back in a little bit with another project.

14 Days of Love - Day 14

Hello.  Happy Valentine's Day.

Day 14 is not very crafty.  It is a box of chocolates and a card.  This is my son's card and chocolates.

The card is a basic card from the Silhouette Online store.  It was suppose to say Will You?  but it didn't cut good so I put a ribbon and button over it.  My son will see the cut when he opens the card but he is use to me covering up booboos.

Have a great day.

14 Days of Love - Day 9

Hello.  I got busy yesterday and forgot to post Day 9.  It was a really simple gift with a print and cut card.  I just had to have at least one elephant in the mix so yesterday was the day.

I will be back later with today's surprise gift.

14 Days of Love - Day 8

Hello.  I am late posting this.  My cutter just didn't want to cooperate.  In fact, I ended up fussy cutting it.  Hopefully tomorrow, it will work better.  But Day 9 will be late, too.  I don't expect to be in my craft room until late afternoon or evening.

I am so enjoying all of the print and cuts.  It has made the gifts so easy.

Have a great evening.

My son is getting a roll of Sweet Tarts and my husband is getting two rolls of Mentos.

Well off to work, I go.  Have a great day.

14 Days of Love - Day 6

Good Morning.  Happy Saturday.  I am working all weekend, but I hopefully will have some play time.

Day 6 is just a cute, fun and quick day.  I found these little bags at the Dollar Tree.  When you pop the bag, a little heart shaped balloon comes out.  I just had to get some.  My husband isn't going to be impressed but that is okay.  I added some Cookies and Creme chocolate candies.  Then I added just some simple Print and Cut Valentines from the Silhouette Online store.  I always buy them and this was the perfect time to use them.

Have a great day.  Hopefully I will see you later today.

14 Days of Love - Day 5

Hello.  Happy Friday.  I hope everyone has plans to have some fun this weekend.

This is a cute little gummy lollipop, I found at the Dollar Tree.  I only bought one because I wanted to make sure I was going to use it.  Now I need to go back and pick up two more.  I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it.  But I thought the tag worked pretty good.

Have a great day.

14 Days of Love - Day 4

Good Morning.  Well here I am on Day 4.  I really hope I have enough for the full 14 days.  We will see.

Aren't these candy bars so cute?  They were already decorated.  I just had a small strip on the the end and a curly ribbon.  My son will love the dog one and his girlfriend will love the cat one.  My husband gets the plain one.

Off to work.  Have a great day.

Have a great day.

14 Days of Love - Day 2

Good morning.  I have another Valentine's Day treat for you.  I always see this cute candies at the Dollar Tree.  I buy them with the best of intentions but I never seem to get anything made for them.  This year, I am going to do better.

This little marshmallows came in a four pack.  A little dog, an elephant, a heart and a teddy bear.  I separated them and they will be little small treats for my husband, son and my son's girlfriend.  I don't know who will get the fourth one.

The tag is one of Miss Kate's Cuttables.  I don't normally  make small tags.  I just have trouble cutting the letters, but I just had to try it.  And I think it came out great.

See you tomorrow with another day of love.

14 Days of Love - Day 1

Hello.  Just like Christmas, I like to do several days of small gifts to those around me.  I never get all the gifts posted.  I am going to try to get them all posted this year.

The first one will be Sweetheart Conversation Hearts.  My son and I have to have at least one box.  It is usually the first Valentine candy I buy.  I decided to make boxes this year.  I haven't made boxes in a couple of years.  I couldn't find a box that would fit so I took this pattern from Silhouette Online and made it work.  It was actually easy.  I just sized it down to get the right measurements.  And then I took the heart off it.

I used various Print and Cut images from Silhouette Online for the decoration.  All done.

Chat with you later.
