Whimsie Doodles

Hello.  How is everyone doing this morning?

I have been Guest Designing over at Whimsie Doodles.  It has been so much fun.  I am here early this morning to help introduce this month's challenge.   It will be a fun one.  It is a color challenge.  I just love the colors.

What do you think of when you see these colors?  I thought Halloween.  So I just had to use 'The Skinny Witch Flying'.  I cut out an extra hat so I could 3D it.  Then I added little giggly eyes to the spider.  The white ribbon in the background has all kinds of Halloween words in different colors.  Then I added 3 of my perler beads. (One of my projects for today is to make some Halloween colors.)

I hope you enjoy the card.  Make sure you go over to Whimsie Doodles and enter the challenge.

Have a great day.

Happy Saturday

Hello and Happy Saturday.  My computer is giving me problems so I hope I get this done before it crashes on me since one of the challenges end in a few minutes.

I am guest hosting at Whimsie Doodles so I have a bunch of images printed out to use.  The yellow almost makes this spring looking but I love this little girl.  The background is a new texture folder that I picked up a couple of weeks ago.  I really like the doodle look of it.

It is a nice fall day here, so even though, I have a cold, all the windows are open.  So when I took this picture, I had to close some of the blinds so it wasn't so bright in here.

I am using this card in the following challenges:
ABC Challenges - Queen of Hearts
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes #76
Crafting When You Can - Anything Goes
Simon Says Monday - Stamp & Die
   City Crafter - Feeling Flat
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes

Chat soon.  With all of my projects, I should be back with some thing soon.

Birthday Elephant #1

Hello.  Today was the first day back to work.  It was a busy day.  Just nine months until summer vacation.  Just kidding.  I loved having the summer off but it is nice to be back.  It is always fun to see the changes in the kids.

My son's birthday is coming up.  I think I am going to see how many elephant cards I can make him.  He will probably roll his eyes when he starts receiving them, but he will get over it.  I have 6 Bugaboo elephants alone, plus I have 3 more in my shopping cart.  This is going to be so much fun.  I think I will start mailing them out around the 15th.  That will give me 10 days.  So keep watch to see how many I get done.

This is the first one.  I just love this elephant from Bugaboo.  They have several Edward Elephants and you will probably see more of them.  I did it in red.  It is my son's favorite color and red and white is the colors for the University of Alabama.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Little Miss Muffet - For The Boys
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes
   Sketch Saturday - Sketch #377
Through The Craftroom Door - Favorite Team Colors

Have a great night.

Imagine That by Kris

Hello.  I got a phone call last night and by the time, I finished this card, I was ready for bed.  Not that I went to sleep.  I read for a little while.

This is the new Digital of the Month at Imagine That.  I just love it.  There is a set of them.  This one, a fall one and a school one.  I just love them.  I didn't get the school one but I may have to go back and get it.  You will see the fall later this weekend.

I knew when I saw it, I wanted to make a step card and I wanted apples down the sides.  The paper comes with the set.  Just a great package.   I have missed the last couple of progressive challenges so I am so glad to have it finished.

It is colored with my copics and then I added Glossy Accents to all of the apples so they are shiny.  I haven't been listing my supplies at the bottom but I will try to get better at it.

I made an extra one so when I decorate my table by the door for Fall, I will have one for it.  I know that sounds odd, but some times I make a card and I just like it so much that I want to show it off and just enjoy it.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
   Imagine That - Progressive
Marker Pop - Anything Goes #76
   613 Ave Create - Anything Goes #139
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - Make It Cute
   Penny's Challenges - Use A Sentiment
Simon Says Wednesday - Make It Colorful

Chat with you later.

Cut It Up

Hello and Happy Friday.  This is my last Friday off.  School starts back on Tuesday.  I am ready to go back but I am going to miss being home all day.  Less time to get every thing done.  At least it is a long weekend.  Labor Day weekend and the start of college football.  What a great weekend.

It is time for another Cut It Up challenge.  I picked the theme.  I was originally going to pick some thing to do with Labor Day, but I didn't think it would be fair to those outside the USA.  Plus, as I said, it is the start of college football and that is major around my house.  So the theme is sports.  Have fun with it.  Any sport.

It is sponsored this time by One Happy Cut.  The winner will get a $15 gift code.  What an amazing prize.

I used this image from the Silhouette Online store.  I duplicated it and then make a card out of it.  Real simple but a perfect card for all of the family.

I look forward to seeing every one's projects.  Have a great day.

Strawberry Jam

Hello.  I am been busy today finishing up a few summer projects.  But in between, I did get time to make some cards.

When I updated my challenge list last night and saw the In A Jam challenge at City Crafter, I knew what I was going to make.  This card has been on my list all summer.  I saw it over at Lori Whitlock's blog.  My sister loves strawberries, so it was a must.  Plus I like strawberries too.  I changed it up a little.  I had to make it my own.  In the tutorial, she used twine instead of the ribbon, but I left and then I added two gemstones in the top corner.  I made four all of them had different tops.  I went through my scraps looking for plaids, because home made jam has to have a plaid cloth on the top of it. I just love how this came out.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
Hiding In My Craft Room - Anything Goes
   Jo's Scrap Shack  Anything Goes
   Cupcake Inspiration - Layers
City Crafter - In A Jam

I am off to finish one more card.  Chat with you soon.
