Time To Bloom

Hello.  I hope every one is enjoying the start of the weekend.  I was so ready to get off work today.  I am working my second job all weekend but I am still hoping for some down time.  I also want to spend some time in my flower bed.  It really needs some work done on it, but I have been having allergy problems so I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I decided to play with the progressive digital from From The Heart.  I really like it this month (I do most months.  lol) I did however shorten it.  I didn't want to image to take up the whole card.  It also had some great sentiments with it.

Cut It Up Challenges

Hello and Happy Friday.  I have been kind of quiet lately and I am determined to get back into the swing of things.  So I am starting today with a new challenge for Cut It Up.  It was a hard one for me but I did it.

The theme is Altered Books.  I don't make Altered Books so it was really hard for me to come up with something.  I kept it simple.  I used one of the monogram files on the Silhouette Online Store.  I added a ribbon down the side of the notebook and that was about it.

I can't wait to see what every one comes up with.   The sponsor this time around is As Cute As A Button.  The winner will get a gift code good for $20 of merchandise.

Elephant

Hello   I am trying to get ready for a short trip down South.  And that means, treat boxes.  I want to have 5 each for my husband, son and son's girlfriend.  Then I need to have some extras for the rest of the family.  My son's girlfriend is getting the cat box.  My husband will get the elephant one, of course.

Cat Box

Hello again.  Just one more quick one before I head out to run some errands.

I made this a couple of nights ago and I haven't taken the time to post it.  Every one that has seen it, thinks it is strange for the cat to be polka dot-ed but I think it is a cute little kitty cat.

I have several more in this series to make.  Hopefully tonight.

Give a Crafter a Cookie

Hello.  How is everyone doing on this cold Spring day?  I am ready for the Spring weather.  Too bad Mother Nature isn't cooperating.  We had freezing rain yesterday.  I guess it is better than the snow we had on Saturday and Sunday.

It is time for a new challenge over at Give a Crafter A Cookie.  I missed putting my card up on the site but here it is for everyone to see.  The challenge is sponsored by Kitty Bee Designs.

I decided to use a cupcake shaker card.  I haven't done a shaker card in a while and I needed some birthday cards so this was a good time to do both. 

The sprinkles in the shaker are from the Dollar Tree.  It was a small pack of multi sized pink beads.  Just perfect for shaker cards.  I used one of my BossKut die cuts for the happy birthday.  And of course, I used my fuse tool for the shaker pouch.

Cut It Up Challenges

Hello and Happy Friday.  I am late posting this.  My computer and Internet just would not do what I needed it to do.

It is time for another challenge at Cut It Up Challenges.  The challenge, this time, is April Fool's Day (you must include a joke or riddle.)  I don't really do humorous cards so I didn't really know what to do.  I ran across this multi-fold card with lots of candles and thought it would be good for my sister-in-laws' 51 birthday.  Man, does it have a lot of candles on it.  Each flame has three layers.  I didn't think I would ever finish.  I may add a 51 onto the front.  I haven't decided yet.
