3-D Valentine's Day Card - Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge J2313

I got another Valentine's Day card made.  There is no stamping involved.  I seem to go through stages where I don't use stamps in my cards.  I have a feeling that Valentine's could be one of those stages.  I have several stamps for the holiday but none of them jumped out at me. 

I did buy the two sets on special at Stampin' Up.  They arrived today so I may use them at some point.  I also ordered a new Penny Black set.  I just don't know if it will get here in time.  And then there is also my Denami stamps.   Reading all of that, I really need to get busy making cards.

Back to this card, I don't normal keep track of the paper that I use but I did on this one.  The card is made out of Core'dinations Ruby.  Then there is the background paper, it is We R Memory Keepers Be My Valentine. The pendants are Cloud 9 Design Luster Candy Box Hearts in Red.  The 3-D hearts is made from Peddles New Addition Love Bug.

I am using this card for the challenge over on Repeat Impressions (J2313). 

I am trying to get more active and do more challenges.  Hopefully you will see more of these.

Valentine's Day Card

Stampin' Up Because I Care

I needed to make a 'Get Well' card.  So I pulled out my Stampin' Up Because I Care set.  I used one of my embossing folder but I don't know what it is called.

Patriotic Pinwheel Pattern

I have seen this card several times and finally got around to making it.  You can find the tutorial here.

It is hard to see but the top part of the card is embossed with stars.  I think I am going to make a Valentine's Day version of this card.  Hopefully you will see it over the next few day.

Tic Tac Candies/Mints

At Christmas, I made these little tic tac holders.  It got me to thinking what I could do with other colors.  So over the next few days/weeks, you will be seeing some ideas.

 I think the ladies at work are going to get the Valentine's Day ones.  I just need to find some more pink tic tacs.

I am thinking red and green tic tacs will make cute apple holders. Then pumpkins for the orange ones.  Santa's shirt with red ones.  Ghost and bigger snowmen out of the white ones.  Plus I saw a really cute idea using the blue ones and the Stampin Up Tags Til Christmas set.

I am also thinking of using one of my Repeat Impression penguins.

I am going to go ahead and make them while I am thinking about them, so keep checking back for more pictures.

Revised the card

I thought some thing was missing from my challenge card so I played with it some more.  I took one of my texture folders and embossed the blue strips.  I like the card much better.

Repeat Impressions D2612 Sketch Challenge

I recently discovered a stamp company with the cutest stamps.  I will be purchasing stamps from them on a regular basis. The company was Repeat Impressions.

On their blog, they have some great ideas.  On Wednesdays, they have a sketch challenge.  I really like the challenge this week.  I used the layout for this card. I use the beach view finder stamp set from Art Gone Wild.

I am hoping to play around with this challenge again.
