Birthday Elephant #1

Hello.  Today was the first day back to work.  It was a busy day.  Just nine months until summer vacation.  Just kidding.  I loved having the summer off but it is nice to be back.  It is always fun to see the changes in the kids.

My son's birthday is coming up.  I think I am going to see how many elephant cards I can make him.  He will probably roll his eyes when he starts receiving them, but he will get over it.  I have 6 Bugaboo elephants alone, plus I have 3 more in my shopping cart.  This is going to be so much fun.  I think I will start mailing them out around the 15th.  That will give me 10 days.  So keep watch to see how many I get done.

This is the first one.  I just love this elephant from Bugaboo.  They have several Edward Elephants and you will probably see more of them.  I did it in red.  It is my son's favorite color and red and white is the colors for the University of Alabama.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Little Miss Muffet - For The Boys
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes
   Sketch Saturday - Sketch #377
Through The Craftroom Door - Favorite Team Colors

Have a great night.

  3. Great idea! I'm sure while he may roll his eyes at all the elephants, he will appreciate it greatly. It wasn't until several later that I heard from my son that he really did enjoy the handmade cards from mom. Thanks for sharing this with us at Sketch Saturday. Great design for a birthday card.
