Pink Birthday

Hello.  Happy Saturday.  Just a quick card before I head off to work.  I am still trying to build up my birthday cards.  I don't have many and I like to have them for any last minute birthdays that I might forget.

My go to colors lately have been pink and blue.  This card is no different.  I love the colors on it. 
The layout for the card came from Silhouette Online.  It has been on my list to make for some time.

From The Heart

Hello.  I seem to only get in my craft room late at night.  Tonight is no exception.  I didn't give call my sister.  I really meant to clean more than play.  Oh well.

I printed out the Cozy Kittens from From the Heart a couple of days ago and I haven't used them yet.  Since the end of the month is here, I decided to go ahead and use them.

I don't think I have ever color kittens.  I think I did okay.  I like the orange kitten better.  I will have to try it again.

Give A Crafter A Cookie

Hello.  I have a big announcement.  I have become a member of the Give A Crafter A Cookie design team. 

Today is my first challenge with them.  Challenges at Give A Crafter A Cookie are always photo inspired and they run for two weeks.  This week's theme is

Don't those cookies look delicious.  I can't wait to see what every one will come up with.  The sponsor for this challenge is The Stamping Boutique.   The prize is 2 digis (3 digis if you use a Stamping Boutique image).

Here is my card for the challenge.  It was so much fun working with this little snowman.  Instead of using blue (I feel like that is I have am using right now), I went with green.  I also used one of my snowflake swirl texture folders.

Miss Kate Cuttables

Good evening.  

I really wanted to do the Miss Kate Cuttables' facebook challenge.  And if you follow any of my post on here, you know I love to take her titles and convert them into cards.  So tonight I picked her Let It Snow title and made it into a card.  I am still hoping for snow.  It is hard to believe it is the end of January and we don't have any snow on the ground.

I added gems to the centers of all of the snowflakes.

Coffee anyone?

I am back at it. 

I haven't made a trio card in a while so I thought I would use the coffee one for the Photo Inspiration challenge at City Crafter.   When I cut the stream for the middle cup, I didn't think about my card being white so I took my C1 copic marker and colored it gray.  It is hard to see in the picture, but I distressed the edge of the card also.

Hello again.  Another quick one before I go start dinner.  My sister is going to be upset that I made this without her but she hasn't called me back yet.  Oh well.

I don't send out very many Get Well cards but it is nice to have a few in the card box.

Valentine's Day Heart

Hello.  I really hope to get some play time this evening but I do have a few things to do so we will see.

In between straightening some rooms, I thought I would make a quick Valentine's Day card.  I have a few leftover from last year and that is a good thing because I haven't made that many yet.  I am going to work on that this week.

This is a simple and clean card from the Silhouette Online store.  I wasn't sure about it when I started but I like the way it came out.  I was going to add a ribbon across the top but decided to leave.  I did add a Be my Valentine stamp at the bottom of the card.

Bugaboo

Hello again. 

Bugaboo Stamps had their 6th birthday this week.  Happy Birthday.  So they are having a challenge every day this week.  They all end tonight and I have only done one.  so I thought I would work a few.  This is for Day 2.  It needed to be a jungle birthday theme.  I didnt want to do another red elephant so I did this one in yellow and green.

Clean and Simple

Hello.  I hope every one has great plans for the weekend.  Especially if it means creative time.  My creative juices have been slow this week, but I have been busy reorganizing instead of playing.

I decided to look at the challenges tonight and see if anything came to mind.  I saw the challenge at Addicted to CAS and I remembered pulling some of my embossing folders that I haven't used in a while.  This cupcake was one of them.  I don't leave a lot of blank space on my cards so I also pulled out one of my favorite embossing folders.

Snowflakes

Hello and Happy Monday.  I am off from work.  In between doing a few things around the house, I am going to play in my craft room some.

The first thing, I decided to make today was a box card.  I haven't done a winter one yet.  I picked the Snowflake card in a box from the Silhouette Online store.  It is larger than a normal card but that is okay.  I also changed it up some what.  I didn't add all of the white panels.  And I added more snowflakes.  I like my box cards to look full.  I also added gemstones to the snowflakes.

Let It Snow

Hello.  Well we finally got some snow.  It didn't last long.  It rained last night and washed it all away.  We should get more over the next few days.  At least I hope.

I haven't been real creative.  I don't know why but I am determined to get back the creative juices.  I picked up a stamp tonight just to see what I could come up with.

This little snowman is from Impression Obsession.  He is one of my favorite snowmen.  I stamped him twice and cut the head out for some dimension.  The snowflakes are from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from My Craft Spot (now closed).

Valentine Elephant

Hello.  I am working today but I wanted to make sure to get a card made for the Marker Pop challenge. 

I decided to use this cute little elephant from Bugaboo.  I just adore their elephants.  I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  I really like the sketch and I think I am going to use it again.  I need to make a couple of birthday cards and this would work really well.

Snow Days

Hello.  I worked today so I have another card late in the evening.  After this I am off to straighten my craftroom and kitchen.

This was a simple title converted into a card.  One of my favorite things to do.  I added gemstones around the snowflake and in the center.

Howdy Wintertime Snowman

Hello.  I made this card last night but I didn't get to post it.  It was a new file on the Silhouette Online store.  Just too cute.

We still haven't gotten any snow so I am relying on my cards for some Winter time fun.  Instead of a star on the hat, I added a snowflake.

A Few Challenges

Hello.  Once again, I have a quick one for you.  I wanted to do this before Christmas and I didn't get it done.  I am determined to make some New Year's cards before Christmas this year.  There is never enough time around the holidays.  So you may see a few more of these.

This is a Miss Kate Cuttables title.  I just love converting them into cards.  I cut all of the words and balloons out of white and then used my copic markers to color them.  I find that is the easiest way to do all of the layers.  You don't have to match a bunch of paper.

Elfy Holiday

Hello.  I don't know where today went.  I went grocery shopping after work and then came home and did a few things and before I knew it, it was 10:00.

I have one card tonight.  I really meant to make a couple of things but I didn't make it.

I have several Tiddly Inks images on my wishlist.  I finally purchased a few of them.  This cute little elf is just so cute.  It need to be bigger but I think it came out really well.  Next time, she will be bigger.

Snow Playtime

Hello again.  Another quick one and then I am heading to the kitchen to pick it up before I head to bed.  Because Christmas break is over and I must work tomorrow.

I am trying to pull out some of my older stamps.  Some that haven't been used in a while.  This one is one of them.  It is by Impressions Obsession.  I just love this series.  I have several more on my wishlist.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  It was a quick and easy sketch.  You will notice once again that I added glitter.  Some thing about snow just yells glitter.

Friendly Snowman

Hello and Happy Sunday evening.  I finally got my craft table cleaned off.   I still have a few piles to go through but I will get there.

I cut this image from From The Heart out a few days ago and I finally finished it.  It was lost on my desk.  I don't normally make my images so big but I thought a bigger image would work better with this week's sketch.

Instead of putting the sentiment on a banner under the image, I printed it on the circle.  I was actually thinking ahead.  Don't laugh, it does happen.  I added glitter on the pom pom on top of the hat.
