Hello again. I am home from the Open House. Dinner is over and all I need to do is clean up the kitchen. Plus I want to go plant some tomatoes.
But before that, I wanted to make a card. Usually, I make the card and then see which challenges it will fit under. But I haven't done a sketch in a while and I do love them, so I decided to start with the sketch and see what stamp I have on my to play with stack would work with it.
The sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches. A perfect sketch for a big stamp. I decided to use this lighthouse from C.C. Designs. It has been sitting on my table for some time. After picking out the stamp, I knew it would work for the challenge over at Dies R Us, but I needed to use a die. What to do????? It finally came to me. I would flip the banner to the top right side instead of the bottom left and use my cloud thin cut.
You can't tell by the picture, but I cut the bird out and popped him with some foam tape. And added some Winks of Stella on the belly of the bird to give it a shimmer.
I just adore this card. I am going to make a power kit out of it and take it to next week's crop. I have got to make up some kits or I am not going to have any thing to do for the 10 hours.
I am going to use it in the following challenges:
Tuesday Morning Sketches - Sketch #454
Dies R Us - Birds
Your Scrapbook Place - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Little Boy Blue (Lots of Blue)
Off to plant some tomatoes. Chat with you a little later hopefully. Have a great evening.
Beautiful Beach card Sarah
