Hello again

Hello again.  I got a lot done in my short break.   I made myself a small salad for a late lunch, canned a small batch of tomatoes, straighten the kitchen (it is a mess again thanks to my salad.), put a load of clothes in the washer, and folded a load.

I came back to make a quick card for the Freshly Made Sketches' challenge.  I used to love sketches more than any thing.  Some where along the way, I quit using them as much.  I don't know why.  This one was a quick and easy one.

I can't believe I went with a Christmas/Winter theme again.  I am still enjoying Summer.  At least this way, I will get some Christmas cards done early.

I used a circle image from Bugaboo.  I added some color to the scarf and his nose and that was it.  Since the circle has a Let It Snow sentiment, I added a snowflake on the bottom of the square.  I also added gemstones and some Stickles around the circle.  Last but not least, I added a ribbon.  I just love ribbons, they added a 3d look.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Freshly Made Sketches - Sketch #347
   Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Crafty Gals - Christmas In July
As You Like It - Ribbons or Buttons & Why

Off to finish these up.  Chat with you again later.  I am still hoping my sister and I have time to play tonight.

  1. Maybe you can't believe you are working on Christmas cards - but that image was too perfect to pass up for this sketch! It's charming! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  2. Cute card!
Love your snowman image panel (it's one of my favourites from Bugaboo), love your snowflake layers too, they work perfectly together with the sketch!
