Zig Zag Card Tutorial

I don't know what to call this card and the site I saw it on didn't have a name either.  So until I found the correct name I am calling it Zig Zag.  I found the original card on Joan's Daily Stampede.  She made her card larger than mine.  I wanted to keep it at the standard 5 1/2" X 4 1/4".

I used the Penny Black Mimi Halloween set.  This is just the cutest set and stamps so well.  I will use the set over and over probably.

I hope you enjoy the card.

Flower Soft Globes

Here are two more 3D cards using the Flower Soft Globes.  I have several of these to use so you will be seeing them again.  I just need to finish cutting them out.

If you haven't seen the Flower Soft site, you should check it out.  I don't use it as often as I should but I do love the products.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Monochromic Halloween Card

Here is my first card of the Halloween season.  It is so hard to believe that it is the first week of October already.

I made this card last year but I didn't finish them in time for Halloween, so I cut out all of the pieces and made a kit.  This week, I put the cards together.

The pumpkin is a stamp by Prickley Pear.  It is a great stamp set and you can also purchase the pumpkin die to make cutting the pumpkins easy.

There are set has six different pumpkin scenes, Halloween and Thanksgiving.

I hope you enjoy the card and have a great day.

Flower Soft

I love playing with the flower soft.  While looking around their website, I ran around these cute card toppers.  You cut/punch out the pieces and using foam tape you 3d the picture.  I just adore them.

I thought I had a picture of the card but I can't find it so tomorrow, I will take another one post it on here.  This can be considered a sneak preview.

There will be more of these as the weeks go on.

Have a great day everyone.

Another Four Seasons Card

I have made several cards but I haven't taken the time to post them.  I will try to post a couple of them tonight.

This card is using the Stampin' Up Four Seasons set.  I embossed the background paper with the Stampin' Up Northern Flurry texture folder.

I saw a similar card at Sleepy in Seatle.  Go over and check out her card.

I loved the way the card came out.  Plus it puts me a head on my Christmas cards.  I usually try to make at least 50 cards and I like to get them mailed out the week after Thanksgiving.  I really need to get busy working on them, but Halloween comes first.

I hope you enjoy the card.  I will try to get at least one more posted tonight.

School's In

School started back on Tuesday so I am back at work.  It is also when I start making a transition from summer to fall to winter.  So you will start to see more fall cards.

I like to take a stamp set and use it several different ways.  So the set I grabbed the other day was "Four Seasons" by Stampin Up.  I really liked this set.  There is just so many possibilities.  I have two cards today and I still want to make a fall one.

I am really bad about not posting details on my cards.  If you ever see one that you have a question about, please leave me a note.
