Good Morning. It is time for another Cut It Up challenge. It is International Day of Peace. Use the colors of a country you have or would like to visit.
I used red, white and blue from the good ole USA. There are several countries I want to visit, but there are a lot of place in the US that I want to see also. Grand Canyon, Disney World, Washington DC, the list could go on and on. So that is why I decided to use the USA.
The sponsor is Kadoodle Bug Designs. This bear is from Kadoodle Bug. If you haven't be over to Kadoodle Bug's site. Check it out, I am sure you will find some thing you like. There are some great cutting files.
I didn't resize this bear, I decided to use it as a refrigerator magnet. It was so easy to put together.
I look forward to seeing you over at Cut It Up. Have a great day.

Play Time
Hello. Finally spending some time in my craft room.
I printed out this little mouse from Meljen's and I wanted to use him on something. I decided to use the sketch from Your Next Stamp. I used some fall paper to add some color to the card. Then I cut out one of the acorn to add the 3d effect.
I am going to use it in the following challenges:
Your Next Stamp - Sketch
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Penny's Challenges - Anything Goes
I don't know if I will be back tonight. Have a good one.

In the meantime, here is the bouquet of tootsie roll pops that I took to school on the first day. Every one loved them. It was something different and we were able to use it as a decoration for a few days.
I am going to use it in the following challenges:
Wags N Whiskers - Back to School
Craft on Your Passion - Back To School
Clear It Out - Anything Goes
Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Wednesday Inspirational - Back To School
Milk Coffee Challenge - Back To School
Sweet 7 Challenges - Back To School
I will see you again tonight hopefully, but if not, have a great night.
Imagine That Lighthouse
Hello. I hope everyone is having a great day. As I mentioned earlier in the month, I was selected to be a Guest Designer for Imagine That. I am still shocked that I get to make cards for such a great lady. Kris has been amazing to work with. I am going to have so much fun over the next two months.
Today, I decided to use Imagine That's Lighthouse set. I printed it out and left in on my table for a couple of days. When I finally sat down to make some thing, my mind was blank. I colored the image just knowing I would think of some thing. In the end, I went with a simple layout. I don't like plain backgrounds so I pulled out a sizzix texture folder. I also added a little seagull flying over the top of the lighthouse.
I also used one of the sentiments in the inside of the card. As you will notice, I cut a small strip of the paper from the front of the card and added it down the side. I don't carry my theme into the card often, but I really like it. I need to do this more often.
I hope you enjoy the card and please go over to Imagine That and check out all of Kris' great set and her digital paper. You won't be disappointed. She also has a monthly progressive challenge.
Have a great day.

Meljen's Designs
Hello. I hope everyone is doing well. Yesterday was the first day back at school/work. It was a good day but still crazy. I came home ready to play but I just didn't feel like it. Today I had some things to do but I am finally in my craft room.
I decided to start by combining some challenges and I went to one of my favorite folders. Meljen's Designs. Melissa just has some great images. I haven't been ready to go into fall, but I am getting there. It was the first thing I looked at today. This is one of my oldest images by Meljen's. I think her little mouse is so cute. She has put him in some great scenes.
I am using this card in the following challenges:
Crafty Creations - Something Old
Delightful Challenges - Layers
Meljen's Designs - Sketch
Scribbles & Scraps - Anything Goes
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
Have a great evening.

Fall is coming
Hello again. I am not ready for Fall. I still have projects I want to do. Oh well, I will get them done at some point. Work tomorrow.
The challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas is Lions, Tigers and Bears. I just love bears so I had to find one to cut. I have quite a few that I have bought over at Silhouette Online so all I had to do was pick one. I decided to cute the candy corn bear. He is by Stinkin' Cute and he is stinkin' cute.
This was the easiest bear to put together. It started with a base to glue every thing to and that made it so easy. To step outside the box, I made him bigger than usually. After that, I went with a simple background.
I am going to use this card in the following challenges:
Die Cuttin Divas - Lions, Tigers & Bears
Fab N Funky - For The Kids
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - #210 Anything Goes
Creative Corner - Anything Goes
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
Simon Says Monday - Bold & Big
Di's Digital - All About Animals
That is it for now.

Announcement
Hello. Happy Labor Day to all of you from the USA.
I have a big announcement today. Kris, from Imagine That by Kris, asked me to be a Guest Designer for the months of September and October. I was honored. I love Imagine That and it will be a perfect reason to use her digital stamps more often. She also has some great digital paper and I am planning on using some of them over the next two months. So get ready for some cards made with her great images.
The first thing, I worked on was her September Progressive Challenge. What? You have never seen her progressive challenge. Oh, you just have to check it out. You have a whole month to make a card using the monthly image. At the beginning of the next month, she will send every one who made a card in the previous month, the new image. It is usually the complete set, so you get sentiments too.
Check out this month's challenge. It is use any Imagine That digi stamp. What a great challenge this month? That means if you are new to Imagine That just purchase one image and use it. Next month, you will get the new image for the month.
I used the adorable Humphrey's Apples. I love apples so this will be a favorite for me, but isn't he perfect for fall?
I made him into a center panel step card. I like the center step cards for rectangle sized images. I put him lower on the center so he uses up some of the bottom of the card. The apple ribbon is has the same colors in it. (And I didn't even plan it.) The paper on the side panels was from my scrap pile.
Oh, I forgot to mention that my new blog background is by Kris. She has several on her site and they are free. She is just amazing.
I hope to see you over at Imagine That for the progressive challenge. Don't worry, if you didn't make a card last month, you can still get the image, just go over to the shop and purchase it. Don't forget to check out the other stamps and papers.
Have a great Monday.
