One More

Hello again.  One more quick one and I am heading to bed.

I am super organized in my Silhouette Design Studio.  I like every thing in folders.  I also have a Sarah's To Do folder.  When I saw the challenge at Just Add Ink, I went to my to do folder first.  When I saw the fish trio, I knew I had my card.  I didn't mean to have so much blue but it will work for the Through The Purple Haze challenge (Monochromic).

I was going to add a wave at the bottom of the card.  I am glad I didn't cut it right away.  There just wasn't room for it.  Next time, I will have to remember to resize every thing.

I am using this card in the following challenges:
Just Add Ink - Just Add F (Fish)
Through The Purple Haze - Monochromic
City Crafter - Synchronised Swim (3 fish)

Getting Ahead of Christmas

Hello.  How is everyone today?  I had today off and it was just a great day.  I have caught up on some Olympics, some reading, and even some housework.  I am hoping to spend some time tonight in my craft room.

When I saw the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays (Gift Tags), I knew I was going to work on my Christmas gift tags.  My Christmas tin is just about full, but that is okay.  I always seem to run out at the last minute.

To keep it simple, I just stuck with green and white.  One sheet of each.   The little yellow stars, I just colored with my copic markers.

I am using the tags in the following challenges:
   CASual Friday - Gift Tags
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Really Reasonable Ribbons - Anything But A Card
Crafting By Design - Anything Goes

Cut It Up Challenges

Hello and Happy Friday morning.  I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend.  I am working all weekend but it should be a good weekend.  I love the Olympics and they start tonight.  I can't wait.

It is time for another Cut It Up Challenge.  This is going to be so much for and so many options.  The theme is Summertime Memories.  I can't wait to hear about everyone's summertime memories.

I can remember my Dad having honeybees as a teenage.  It was always fun watching him rob the box for honey.  So I decided to use one of Digital Delights' bee digital images.  Isn't Larry so cute?  The background paper is also by Digital Delights.  There is Wicks of Stella on the wings.

The challenge is sponsored by Digital Delights by Loubyloo.  The winner will get a $5 gift certificate.

I can't wait to see everyone's entries.  Have fun.

Red White & Blue

Hello.  How is everyone tonight?

I love making RWB cards.  I think they are my favorites to make.  I haven't made a lot lately.  I decided to pull out one of my stamps tonight.  I used the sketch from Your Next Stamp.  My image is a little big but I hope it will work any way.

I am using this in the following challenges:
Your Next Stamp - Sketch #44
   Paper Shelter - Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes

Whooooo

Hello.  Just a quick one tonight.  I made this one while my Mother was in town.  I promise I will get all of the cards posted eventually.  Actually I only have two more cards to post.  I will try to get them up this weekend.  Plus I have a few that I have started but not finished.  Maybe I will get them finished during the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics Friday night.

This is another Sizzix Fold along card.  I just love these.  I want the Christmas Tree but I am waiting until Christmas gets closer.  I made two of these.  I could decided on what color to use for the wings.  I think the orange one is my favorite but I do like the brown one.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   A Gem of A Challenge - Animals
   Penny's Challenges - Anything Goes #289
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes #97

Off to read my book.  Chat with you tomorrow.

Cool Summer Treat

Hello.  Here is another card, we made while my parents were in town.  It was on my to play with list and my sister, Mom and I put it together one afternoon.

It was lots of fun to put together.  When we went to cut the pink glitter paper I messed up and just could get the cut right in my mind.  My Mom took over cutting and worked it out with no problems.  It was a good thing.  I only had one sheet of paper.  We printed the words with the Silhouette.  I really need to do this more often.  The ice cream cone is also a Silhouette Online pattern.  I did something different with each of the ice cream scoops.  One is textured, one is plain and the other is cut with pattern paper.

I am going to use it in the following challenges:
   Art Impressions - Summertime
   Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
   Curtain Call - Snow Cone

Off to see what else I can get into.  Chat with you later.

Christmas Already?

Good morning.  I hope ya'll are having a good day.

I don't normally do Christmas in July.  It is just too soon.  But I wanted to make at least one card for some challenges.  So I printed off this Noel Birds digital image from Bugaboo.  I didn't want the image to be big so I went with my average size.  I think it came out really well.  So well that I am going to print some more.  I think I will pop the red ornament next time.

It is hard to tell from the photo but the blue ornament lights have crystal lacquer on them so that they also pop a little bit.  I was going to do red gems in the bottom corner but decided to look for a brad instead.  I like it much better.

I haven't completed the inside yet.  I am waiting on the crystal lacquer to dry.  But the inside will be white with a stripe of the ornament paper do the side.

I am using it in the following challenges:
ABC Christmas - O is for Overlay
Hiding In My Craft Room - Anything Christmas
   Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes #149
   613 Ave Create - Anything Goes #187
   Fab N Funky - Christmas

Well I am off to the grocery store.  Chat with all of you later.
