Meljen's Designs

Hello again.  I am so enjoying this day off.  Instead of finishing my easel cards, I decided to do something new.

It was Meljen's Designs' 30 minute challenge.  I have never timed myself making a card, but I thought 30 minutes was doable.  Especially with my Cameo,  I didn't think it would be hard at all.  The problem was that I never make just one card.  I always make multiples, at least four cards.

So to do this challenge, I had to budget my time.  I printed and cut the mouse (Little Miss Heart Mouse) first.  Then cut the card bases.  While they were cutting, I colored my first mouse.  Then I cut the white heart frames.  While they were cutting, I went through my scraps and picked the colors for the hearts.  Almost done, with time to spare.  I cut the pink inside layer next, and while it was cutting, I put the backs on the hearts.  Now all I need to do is put every thing together.

It was close, but I got one card completed and three other cards cut, in 27 minutes.  It was tough, but I managed it.  I just had to organize the steps.

I am also going to use the color scheme and use this card for the Red, Pink and White challenges at Eureka Stamps and Craftin Desert Divas.

Off to do a few things including finishing these cards and my easel cards.  Once again, have a great afternoon.
