Hello again. Even though, I still have some Repeat Impressions stamps on my table, I decided to use one of my Whimsie Doodles image for this card. I have several beach/summer images from Whimsie Doodles and I wanted to make sure to use at least one of them this summer.
This is Beach Hat Ava. I love her big floppy hat. She looks ready to hit the beach.
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday. I love the layers on it.
I am using the card for the following challenges:
City Crafter - Beach
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Sweet Stampin - Pretty In Pink
Artistic Inspiration - Anything Goes / Going Places (going to the beach)
Marker Pop - Anything Goes
I hope you have a great evening.

Repeat Impressions
Hello. Happy Monday. I hope every one has a great start to the week.
While I had my Repeat Impressions stamps out, I decided to play around with some of my favorites. This one has always been in my top 3 stamps from Repeat Impressions.
I decided I would use the challenge from
Crafty Sentiments. It was a difficult one. No pattern paper. I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I made a card with just cardstock. It was challenging but fun. I had to go outside of my box.
It is hard to see but there is a green scalloped over behind the flowers. I should have cut it a little bigger.
I am going to use it in the following challenges:
Crafty Sentiments - No Pattern Paper
Sweet N Sassy - Big Bloom
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
Love To Create - Clean and Layered
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
Lia Stamps - No Pattern Paper
Have a great week.

Sketch and Stash
When I saw the sketch over at Sketch and Stash. I knew this was the stamp set to use. It is by Repeat Impressions. I only had time to make one this morning so when I get home I will finish the rest. I think, I am going to use my swiss dot texture folder on the black strip.
Well off to get ready for work. Have a great day.

OWH's Virtual Card Making Party
Hello. I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Here in the USA it is a long holiday weekend. My son came home and it has been a great weekend.
OWN (Operation Write Home) is having a virtual card making party this weekend. I wish I could participate in every challenge but there just isn't enough hours in the day. If you want to check it out, click here.
The first one I want to do is A2z scrapbooking. The theme is paper piecing. I haven't done any paper piecing in a while and this was a great opportunity to do some.
I am doing it in reverse however. I stamped the elephants on my pattern paper and then stamped the baby elephant, Mama elephant's tusk and eyes in white. I then colored the baby elephant.
Both of these stamps are from Hero Arts and were designed for OWH. Hero Arts donates 25% of the profit to OWN. Isn't this great?
I am going to use the card in the following challenges:
A2z Scrapbooking - Paper Piecing
PDE Linky Party - Many Layers
CMC Copic Challenges - Friends
Off to straighten the kitchen and then hopefully I will be back with something else.

Similar but different
Hello. Here with another similar but different idea again. I saw this shadow box weeks ago and I just feel in love with it. I have been wanting to make a shadow box for a while but I didn't know what I wanted to put in it. The patriotic one was just the idea to make me get one put together. I think I am going to put it in my office area for now.
The original idea came from Ribbons and Glue. I love how she put hers together. But I think mine is completely different. I did use her pinwheel idea. I had meant to put a chalkboard square in mine, but it didn't make it.
I like the little bottle of beads and the bicycle. I thought it gave it a more 3d look. I had some little flags I had also meant to use but I ran out of places for them.
I am going to use it in the following challenges:
Love to Create - 3 or more pattern papers
Craft Spot by Kimberly - Patriotic
Wednesday Inspiration - Anything Goes
Brown Sugar Challenges - Anything Goes
Paper Creator Crafts - Anything Goes
I hope you enjoy looking at the two shadow boxes. Have a great Saturday.

Summertime Rhurbarb
Hello. I have a quick card for you today. It is using the Summertime Rhurbarb set from Sweet N Sassy. I have several of this little bear. He is just too cute.
I hope everyone finds time to relax this week.
I used the sketch from Sugar Pea for the card. I wasn't sure about two patterns on the card but I think they fit together well.
I am going to use this card in the following challenges:
Sweet N Sassy - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Anything Goes
Sugar Pea - Sketch #6
Have a great night.

Progressive Challenges
Hello. Yes, the house is quiet once again and I am playing. I got a lot done today. The last thing on my to do list was the two monthly progressive challenges. I waited on both of these because I didn't know what I wanted to do.
Imagine That had penguins in various pool poses. All of them were so cute. My blue copic pen is acting up and isn't coloring well. I will have to figure out what is wrong with it.
The background paper is a kind of watercolor paper and it reminded me of the water in a swimming pool. You just can't see it here. I will be playing with this image again.
The From the Heart image is of Super Birdbrain. I love this little birdie. I needed a saying for the front but I will wait until I use the card to add it. The green corner is textured with a swirl texture folder.
That is about it for tonight. Hopefully I will have more time tomorrow. Have a good one.
