Little Scrap Pieces - Tag You're It Challenge

Before calling it a night, I wanted to mention that I made the Top 3 at Little Scrap Pieces' challenge last week.  Thank you so much for picking my project as one of the top 3.

Good night everyone.

Silhouette 101 - Butterfly Easel

I have been wanting to make this card for several weeks.  I finally made it tonight and I just love how it came out.  It will be a card I remake again and again.  There are so many possibilities.

The butterfly cutting file came from Silhouette Online and is by Lori Whitlock.  I have so many of her files.  She comes up with a great selection.  I added an extra butterfly layer and textured it with an embossing folder.  I only cut one but I will make a few more tomorrow before I move on to my next project.

I am going to use this card for three challenges.  Tuesday Throwdown's Don't Be Square challenge, QKR Stampede's No Squares and Silhouette Online's Anything Goes challenge.

I hope every one has a great week.

SVG Cyts - 3D High Heel Shoe

Svg Cuts is running another challenge where you make something and post it and they will give you a $6.99 credit.  Last time it was a purse and this time, it was a shoe.  When I started it, I didn't know what I was doing, and it didn't go together really well, but I think if I make a second one, it will be easier.

I wasn't sure it the plaid paper would look ok, but I think it came out looking good.

Have a great evening.

Vinyl

As you know from previous post, we are big University of Alabama fans.  All three of us are looking forward to football season starting in just a few short weeks.  I am always looking for things I can get my son with Alabama on it.

This weekend, I decided to use some red vinyl and make a couple of surprises for him.  He will be home Labor Day weekend so I just keep them until he gets here.  The silver board is a cushion lab desk for his laptop.  The candy dish will be full of his favorite candy; Jolly Ranchers.  And then just a shot glass for his Alabama collection.

I am sure he will be surprised.  My husband says there is not way, I will be able to keep it a surprise.  We will see.

Hope you all are enjoying a great afternoon.

Curtain Call Challenge - Watermelon Wonder

I purchased this stamp from Sweet N Sassy at the Novi Convention.  It is just so adorable.  When I saw the challenge at Curtain Call, I knew the stamp would be perfect.

I hope you enjoy the card and the weekend.

Silhouette Weekly Shape Challenge

I have done it again.  I won the challenge over at Silhouette Online.  It is always so surprising.  I will spend the prize on more new cutting files.  I look forward to some new projects.

Well I am off to get a few things done and then I will be back at my crafting table.  Have a great day.

Silhouette Weekly Shape Challenge

Once again, I am entering a challenge right at the last minute.  I just kept putting this off and so here I am doing it late.  The challenge over at Silhouette Online was Replication.  I didn't know what I wanted to do, I finally decided to use the Abstract Flower card.  I really like the way the card came out, but I must say it didn't cut out well.  The white flower was a pain.  I hope next time I cut it, it will be better.

The stamp is by Print Works.  It is called Smiles & Laughter.  I only used part of the stamp.  I also put white pearls on the top and bottom.

Have a great weekend.
